Saint Exupery, the author of The Little Prince was born 120 years ago on June 29, 1900. An unprecedented exhibition, Antoine de Saint Exupéry, Un Petit Prince parmi les hommes (A Little Prince among mortals), designed by Tempora in partnership with la Fondation Antoine de Saint Exupéry pour la Jeunesse, le Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace, the French Air Force and L’Envol des Pionniers, presents the life of the author from different perspectives. The exhibition will run at L’Envol des Pionniers from October 17, 2020 to August 29, 2021 and at la Sucrière (Lyon) from October 14, 2020 to April 25, 2021. This is the first time that this many personal belongings, photographs, archived films, manuscripts and drawings have been gathered together to tell the story of the life of Saint Exupéry. The exhibition is designed to be experienced in continuity with the permanent exhibition on the Lignes Latécoère and Aéropostale, for which he was a pilot. This International exhibition, placed under the patronage of the President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, opens in Toulouse and Lyon. It will then travel to Brussels and will finish its run in 2024 at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace (Air and Space Museum) for the Olympic Games in Paris, to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the disappearance of Antoine de Saint Exupéry.
