Didier Daurat's office inaugurated

On April 11th L’Envol des Pionniers inaugurated the exact reconstitution, on its original location, of the office of Didier Daurat, the emblematic operations manager of Lignes aériennes Latécoère and then the Aéropostale company. “Didier Daurat, the inspiring and little known figure of history was a genuine “boss”, recalled Jean- Claude Dardelet, Vice President of Toulouse Metropole and the President of Semeccel who attended the event. “A hard man, who loved his people but didn’t tell them. Not everyone liked him, but everyone loved the ideal that he defended. He taught men how to discover themselves and to overcome their limitations.” The office is accessible within the scope of the “Tour de piste” guided visit as well at the occasion of a new workshop for families (for aged six and up) offered every weekend and during the Toulouse school holidays. The entire space can be rented for seminars and cocktail events. The inauguration was followed by a presentation by Thierry Sentous, Municipal Councillor of Toulouse, of the cenotaph of Didier Daurat, rehabilitated by Toulouse Métropole and located next to La Ligne gardens.
