L'Envol des Pionniers celebrates the pioneers of the aeropostale

Several events took place this fall at L'Envol des Pionniers, with one thing in common: honoring the memory of the pioneers of the aeropostale.
Honouring the pioneers of the aeropostale
On October 11th, Jean-Luc Moudenc, the mayor of Toulouse and the president of Toulouse Métropole, accompanied by Emilion Esnault, district mayor, and Pierre-Michel Pranville, the president of Friends of L’Envol des Pionniers, revealed at l’Envol des Pionniers a panel featuring all of the roads named in homage to the pioneers of aeropostale around L’Envol des Pionniers. The families of descendants of the pioneers were awarded a replica of the plaques that now identify the streets of the Montaudran neighborhood.
Inaugurations, screenings and a huge success !
October 23rd was a sunny, crowd-filled day in the Montaudran neighborhood. Hundreds of people showed up to enjoy the events organized by L’Envol des Pionniers, in partnership with Friends of L’Envol des Pionniers, for the inauguration by Oppidea and Toulouse Métropole of the heart of the Montaudran neighborhood and the place Marcel Bouilloux-Lafont -founder of la Compagnie Générale de l’Aéropostale). The hugely successful program included a giant quiz, people in period clothing, a concert, and a film screening.
