Space immersion for Rose Festival guests

After the Stade Toulousain last year, it was the Cité de l’espace’s turn on Saturday, August 30th, to showcase the Toulouse region to a panel of celebrity guests and influencers invited by the artist duo, Bigflo & Oli, to the Rose Festival (August 29-31).
Guests included Lena Situations, Petit Biscuit, and Marcus, among others. Wearing personalized astronaut spacesuits, they took part in the event, How the ESA recruits astronauts, followed by a special meeting with Jean-Francois Clervoy, former astronaut, and a luncheon at the foot of the Ariane rocket.
With this partnership, the Cité de l’espace continues to expand its commitment to participating in and showcasing the city’s many cultural celebrations and milestones. By welcoming these celebrities, followed by millions of people on social media, it has also fulfilled its goal of reaching new audiences and promoting Toulouse’s scientific and space identity in an innovative way. With a nod to the Rose Festival, the Ariane was lit up in pink every evening from August 22nd, to spread the word about this festival made in Toulouse.
