On April 3rd, the Imax® theatre at the Cité de l’espace hosted nearly 200 members from the V.I.V. La Plaine club for an evening of sharing about sports, health and the corporate world, faciliteted by Hervé Poeydomenge, president of PH2i Conseils.. Created in 2013, Club V.I.V. (Very Important Neighbors) La Plaine brings together economic players located near exits 17 and 18 of the Toulouse freeway and the chemin de la Terrasse, including the Cité de l’espace. The goals: creating connections, sharing best practices and sponsoring common projects.
Three people spoke at the event: Didier Lacroix, President of Stade Toulousain, Patrick Ladouce, Regional Director of Fiducial, and Pascal Fontaine, Sales Director of Groupe Hygie31. All of them embraced the rugby metaphor to explore different challenges: collective engagement, the right to make mistakes, data management, the capacity to anticipate hard times. For Didier Lacroix, “Giving people the right to make a mistake enables everyone to dare, to try again, to free themselves.” And to warn: “It is when you already see yourself as a winner that you lose.”
At the end of the evening, Laurent Spanghero, an emblematic figure in French rugby, asked the ultimate question: how do we meet current management challenges? A common answer emerged: putting passion in the heart of the company.
