On April 6th, a delegation from AMCSTI (the national professional network of scientific, technical and industrial cultures), led by its director, Bastien Fréard, and accompanied by Olivier Puertas from the Department of industrial, technical, and scientific culture (DCSTI) of Toulouse Métropole, visited L’Envol des Pionniers. The delegation was welcomed by Christophe Chaffardon, Director of Education, Science and Culture of the Semeccel, and Fabrice Cruz, Station Manager of L’Envol des Pionniers, who showed them the site, and the different projects and activities underway. The delegation was especially interested in the Laté 28 Project, which is overseen by the association of the same name and which offers high school students from the Academy of Toulouse the opportunity to rebuild an exact replica of the Laté 28, an emblematic Aéropostale plane. Following the visit, an article about this innovative, participative project that is expected to last several years is currently being written for the next AMCSTI bulletin. Distributed nationally throughout the entire scientific and technical culture network, the bulletin will be an opportunity to share this inspiring experience.
